New here? Let us know you’re coming — we can’t wait to welcome you I'M NEW HERE
We love families — and we want everyone to feel at home in this house!
All ages join together for the worship portion of our service, where kids and adults alike can celebrate and encounter God together.
During the message, nursery care (ages 1–3) and Sunday School (ages 3–11) are available, where children can learn about God in a fun and meaningful way.
At KGC, we love to worship God with passion and freedom. Our services are full of life, joy, and heartfelt expression — you might see people raising their hands, clapping, dancing, waving flags, kneeling, or lying before the Lord in worship.
You may also hear prayer in tongues or words of prophecy as people respond to the Holy Spirit’s leading.
We believe worship is for everyone — from the youngest to the oldest — and we encourage you to worship God freely and wholeheartedly.
Our teaching is Bible-centered — we believe God’s Word is living, powerful, and the foundation for our lives. Each message is designed to help you grow in faith and apply God’s truth in everyday life.
Prayer Ministry
At the end of every service, our prayer team is available to pray with you — whether you’re seeking healing, encouragement, or simply want someone to stand with you in faith.

King’s Gate Church is a house of God's Presence
for all nations and generations.
We are:
Christ Centered
Scripture Rooted
Spirit Empowered
Making Disciples
At KGC, faith comes alive: healing the sick, restoring life, and overcoming darkness through prayer and the power of the Holy Spirit (Matt. 10:8).
King’s Gate Church was planted in Cochrane in the fall of 1980 by our founding pastors, Robert and Angela Butler. After immigrating from England in 1979, the Butlers felt a strong call to start a Spirit-filled work in the community. What began as a small gathering of five people in their home, known as New Life Christian Fellowship, soon grew. We moved to Manachaban School for Sunday services, and within a few years, purchased our first building—a warehouse on River Ave, which we transformed into a place of worship. In April 1994, our members began construction on the building we still call home today. By December 1994, the building was ready, and on January 15, 1995, we experienced a powerful outpouring of the Holy Spirit that ignited revival in our church.
Since then, countless lives have been transformed, and God’s presence continues to move powerfully among us. Every week, we experience His touch in worship, healing, and life-changing encounters. The river of the Spirit keeps flowing deeper, and our walk with God grows richer every day.
